2 days ago I installed PHP 5.2.0 on this server. It is a release with many bugfixes and new features. Compiling on this server went very smooth and ended without any error. This account with blog and forum ran perfect from square one but… I use a few programs compiled with Zend optimiser… and version 3.0.1 is NOT compatible with this version of PHP yet. And according some it will take some before it will as usual.
Basically I had no other choice, I have reverted back to latest 5.1.6 that is now not secure anymore but what can we do…
So if you run servers do not upgrade unless you are sure no one uses the Zend optimiser part
