Today I got my load of mails from several news sources with all the happy latest breaking news….

One article catched my eye and I took time to read it in more details then usual (you know read headlines and to next is what we have time for these days)

The United States once again needed more budget to ‘fund’ it’s war in Iraq. Total budget for fiscal year to fund operations in Afghanistan and Iraq would top 190 Billion $ (yes you read that right) pffff wow that’s quite some budget…. but worst was, this is next to the usual defense budget of 482 billion $ my jaw dropped to the floor…..

a little quick calculating gave me 672 billion / 365 days / 24 hours / 60 minutes / 60 secs = +/- 21000 $ a second …….

Just spend some more time on this, what do countries from the so called G8 spend ? I won’t link to each page I looked, Google around and you’ll find it easily like me. Figures are approximative

Canada : seems to spend 15 Bil
France : 60 B
Germany : 37,5 B
Italy : 30 B
Japan : 50 B
Russia : 40 B (though I doubt that is correct)
US : 672 B

That makes a grand total of +/- 900 Billion $ just to kill other people …

And in each and every country from this list people starve from hunger

shame on those that decide these spendings.
