biofuels is a good idea but…

Sometimes you imagine new things and have the feeling it can’t be wrong, for a change you won’t kill mother earth. Once released economical actors take the idea and rework it for and you end with a nightmare. Just to introduce an article I read today on the website. There are others websites talking about it but this one will do to demonstrate.
Do we have to say no to this kinda new options ? No, I don’t think so. But we have to say no to economical driven development for this kind of subjects. This is to important to leave it to the economical rules. In this case I think indeed politics have to set rules to the developing actors. To preserve humanity from economical disasters. Set the guidelines and restrictions. Indeed use the force of economic actors to get the idea going but keep them within borders. In a world where half of us don’t have a decent meal a day, it is unacceptable to redirect food for fuel. It is a good idea to do something with what we trow away today, recycle them to something useful. There are solutions to both if the political will and courage are there. Let alone if we finally spend our resources and knowledge to help people instead killing them for so called power and control.
